One of the most imposing buildings in the capital city, the former Sacra Infermeria (hospital) of the Knights of St John is now Malta's foremost conference centre hosting major international conferences, exhibitions, banquets, concerts and theatrical events. The Mediterranean Conference Centre is a member of the Historic Conference Centres of Europe (HCCE) and has hosted various conferences including the Valletta Summit on Migration organised by the European Council, the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting last November 2015 and more recently the 7th World Summit on Arts & Culture organised by the International Federation of Arts Councils and Culture Agencies (IFACCA). The premises has 10 large conference rooms and several break-out areas with the largest hall accommodating up to 2,500 people standing.
The modern Conference Centre is located next door to the Hilton Malta situated in the Portomaso yacht marina area. The Centre features a variety of well-equipped meeting rooms including the Grand Master’s Suite which can accommodate up to 1,330 delegates. This multi-purpose conference centre is situated very close to the area of St.Julians and is in close proximity of other Conference hotels in the area.
Malta's largest conference and exhibition venue can host everything from gala dinners to concerts, trade fairs, motor exhibitions, fashion shows, conferences and more. Artists who performed at this venue include Simply Red, Michael Bolton, Faithless, Chemical Brothers as well as Carlos Santana. The high-ceiling tension fabric structure has an area of 7,000 sqm. This multi-purpose venue can hold 10,000 people seated or 22,000 standing offering versatility to any event organiser.
The Oracle Conference Centre is housed in the Dolmen Resort Hotel, one of the leading four-star hotel properties in the Northern part of Malta. This Centre is right off the seafront and is a business, entertainment and training centre with state of the art audio visual facilities. Very popular for Pharmaceutical meetings and Association Conferences, this centre offers a total of 3 large conference rooms and other syndicate rooms. The Oracle, which is the largest room on site can accommodate 1,200 guests seated.
